For over 18 years, Carmen has worked as an intercultural communication, diversity, and workplace coach and consultant. Her clients span the globe (from México, the United States, and Spain) and lie within the business, nonprofit, PK-12, and higher education sectors. She has a strong program development background with nationally and internationally recognized results for the innovation and achievements of the programs she designs with robust structures.
Carmen feels passionate about creating and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. She’s astute and skilled in HR leadership, executive and workplace coaching, process improvement, and consulting.
As a consultant and coach, Carmen empowers teams to collaborate and become their best possible version of themselves, especially when co-creating inclusive environments. She integrates Shirzad Chamine’s positive intelligence certification training into her practice to help
clients foster recognition, discover possibilities and find the meaning and purpose required to make things happen.
Carmen currently serves as the Director of Cultural Linguistic Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also owns and operates CRG Coaching and Consulting, LLC, offering executive coaching, workplace coaching, and consulting. She provides all services in English and
Spanish.
Carmen holds an MBA degree with an emphasis in business communication, a master’s degree in English-Spanish translation, and a bachelor’s degree in labor relations. She is also a UW-Madison certified professional coach and workplace coach credentialed by the International Coach Federation.
