Our Coaching services cover three key areas of development that support DEI initiatives, Emotional Intelligence, Executive, and conflict resolution. Emotional Intelligence Coaching For Individuals and Teams

Practicing EQ is a proven driver of success for both teams and individuals, contributing more to performance and leadership efficacy than managerial skills or IQ. 

Step Up, Equity Matters uses an individual self-assessment developed by Six Seconds, a global emotional intelligence research nonprofit, and a one-on-one coaching session with a Step Up, Equity Matters employee who is also a Six Seconds certified EQ assessor. The SEI Emotional Intelligence Assessment is a skills-based framework that measures individuals’ perception of their own skills in practicing emotional intelligence. Through this process participants will learn about their strengths and areas for growth while also having the opportunity to identify strategies for leveraging strengths and building teams with high opportunity for success. Both individual and team coaching is available.

Team’s Conflict Resolution Coaching

Conflict is at the root of all change.  However, many associate negative outcomes with conflict.  What if we reconsidered conflict and its role in the workplace?  What could we accomplish?  How would our teams and relationships improve? 

With Everything DiSC Productive Conflict, participants will improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, Everything DiSC Productive Conflict provides participants with techniques to curb destructive behaviors and effectively respond to conflict situations. The program features an exploration of DiSC® in a conflict context, provides an opportunity for participants to explore their destructive conflict responses, and offers them a method for making more productive choices in their response to conflict.

Students of Everything DiSC Productive Conflict will: 
  • Appreciate how their style of handling conflict affects the people around them
  • Learn how to “catch” themselves when going down a destructive conflict path
  • Learn how to reframe a conflict situation and choose more productive behaviors
  • Build a common language in the organization around appropriate conflict behavior
