Paul has been fascinated with technology from an early age growing up in small town Wisconsin where he tinkered with legacy computer and gaming systems in his youth. That curiosity eventually led to a career spanning 20+ years in corporate IT within the automotive and energy sectors and more recently with nonprofits where his focus has shifted to helping them understand and achieve their technological needs. He has an education in both business and computer science and a background loaded with leading complex technical business projects with a Fortune 500 company. He thrives on leveraging new technologies in order to solve complicated real-world business problems in a sustainable manner. Although he might describe himself primarily as a software engineer if asked, his expertise showcases a variety of roles including project management, business analysis and intelligence, infrastructure and platform implementer, quality assurance, and systems architect to name just a few.
